These little cake things might provide some decent punny promotional material for the headphone brand Skull Candy. For some reason or other, I don’t find them terribly creepy as much as I find them simply unappetizing. Something about the sloppily carved, unevenly frosted bites just doesn’t do it for me.

If they’re made specifically for Halloween, I can understand it. A bunch of these sitting around will do a pretty good job of both frightening and enticing young trick-or-treaters just the right amount. But for pretty much any other occasion, these little cranium cakes are a pretty big no for me.
