#8: Collapse or Fainting
A dog that suddenly collapses, faints, or cannot stand normally may be experiencing a serious medical emergency. Collapse can happen because of heatstroke, heart problems, poisoning, breathing trouble, seizures, internal bleeding, or severe weakness. Some dogs may briefly lose consciousness or appear confused afterward.

Keep the dog calm and contact a veterinarian immediately. Move them carefully and avoid forcing food, water, or activity. If the dog is unconscious, struggling to breathe, or unable to stand, head to an emergency veterinary clinic right away. Quick treatment can be lifesaving in collapse cases.
