Jimmy Stewart sure had his fair share of famous girlfriends for a guy who stayed single for quite a while. One of the most talked-about was his romance with Olivia de Havilland.

They were together for a good chunk of time, and everyone thought they were headed for the altar when Stewart popped the question. But, alas, it wasn’t meant to be.
