James “Jimmy” Stewart: The Great Hollywood Actor

In 1982, when Henry Fonda passed away, it hit Jimmy Stewart hard. They’d been buddies forever in life and their acting careers. They went way back, having gone to Princeton together, to sharing the ups and downs of Hollywood life.

Stewart, true to himself, didn’t show much of his feelings in public. But he did share one thing: “I’ve just lost my best friend.” Short and simple, but it spoke volumes about how much Fonda meant to him.
