Success as a Young Actor
When Stewart won his Best Actor Oscar for The Philadelphia Story, he was just thirty-two years old. That might not sound like a big deal today, but back then, he was the youngest guy ever to win it.

Usually, actors had to wait until they were nearly forty to grab that shiny trophy. Stewart held onto that record for fourteen years until Marlon Brando came along, nabbing his Oscar at the relatively young age of thirty for On the Waterfront.
