#10: Patty Duke, The Patty Duke Show (1963–1966)
Playing identical cousins Patty and Cathy Lane, Patty Duke carried The Patty Duke Show with impressive comic versatility. The contrast between the lively American Patty and the refined Scottish Cathy gave the sitcom its main joke. Duke’s energetic performances made the double role a showcase for her comedic talent.

Duke continued acting for decades in film, television, and stage productions, while also becoming an outspoken advocate for mental health awareness. Her memoirs and public work brought attention to bipolar disorder and helped reduce stigma. She remains remembered as both a talented performer and a courageous public voice.
