#79: Beverley Owen, The Munsters (1964)
Before Pat Priest took over the role, Beverley Owen originated Marilyn Munster on The Munsters, playing the “normal” blonde niece in television’s most unusual family. Owen’s soft-spoken charm and classic beauty created the perfect contrast to the show’s spooky gothic humor during its early episodes.

Owen left the sitcom early in its run but remained an important part of the show’s history as the original Marilyn. Even decades later, fans of classic television still remember her brief but memorable contribution to one of the 1960s’ most beloved comedy series.
