#30: Sue Sylvester, Glee
Glee (2009) was framed around Will Schuester, a high school teacher revitalizing the glee club with hopes of inspiring his students. His storyline of chasing dreams through music was meant to be the driving force of the show.

But Jane Lynch’s Sue Sylvester dominated the spotlight. As the ruthless cheerleading coach, Sue’s insults, outrageous schemes, and satirical tirades made her the most talked-about character. Episodes revolving around her vendettas, like sabotaging show choir competitions, became fan favorites. Sue’s larger-than-life presence often reduced the glee club to her foil.
