Overheard at Thanksgiving Dinner: People Share Amusing and Insightful Thanksgiving Tweets

We all have those old friends we kind of keep in touch with but don’t really talk to anymore. These kinds of relationships usually entail “liking” each other’s Instagram posts and sending annual “Happy Thanksgiving!” texts that are very obviously copy-and-pasted as a mass text. There’s no other effort put into talking or meeting to catch up, and that’s totally fine. 

The “Happy Thanksgiving” mass texts are comforting, in a way. You always know they’re going to be there and the messages are sent like clockwork. It just becomes another part of the holiday routine. Honestly, it would be kind of weird if you didn’t get any general mass texts from old friends at all!
