The Love You More Trust claimed a $285.6 million Powerball jackpot in Florida in 2021, with Clay Tousey of Ponte Vedra Beach named publicly as trustee. The winning Quick Pick ticket was bought at a Circle K in Jacksonville and matched all six numbers in the June 5 drawing.

Instead of the full annuity, the trust chose a one-time lump-sum payment of about $196.7 million before taxes. Since the actual beneficiary’s personal plans were not public, the trust structure became part of the story. It suggested privacy, planning, and an effort to handle sudden wealth with some legal distance.
