The Cast of Fast Times at Ridgemont High: Then and Now

Anthony Edwards had one of his earliest film roles in Fast Times at Ridgemont High as another of Spicoli’s perpetually stoned surfer friends. With his shaggy hair and carefree vibe, he blended seamlessly into Sean Penn’s crew, embodying the quintessential early ’80s beach bum.

Though it was a small role, Edwards’ charm and timing were already evident. Just a few years later, he would break out with much bigger parts, proving that even minor roles in Fast Times were stepping stones for future stars.
