#35: Doing Service Like Cleaning or Cooking
Devotees do “seva,” meaning service done with no expectation of reward. It can be cleaning the temple floor, cooking for the community, or helping set up events. The idea is that humble tasks can become spiritual when done with a good heart.

People say seva changes the way they think about chores. Instead of feeling like obligations, these tasks feel grounding and even uplifting. Working side-by-side with others builds a sense of connection, and the simple act of helping out becomes its own kind of meditation.
