#23: Broken or Clogged Gutters
Gutters may seem minor, but broken ones can point to bigger water problems. Overflowing sections, sagging runs, clogged downspouts, or water dumping near the foundation can make buyers worry about roof damage, basement leaks, rot, or soil movement.

Clean and repair gutters before they become a negotiation issue. Remove leaves, secure loose sections, replace damaged pieces, and extend downspouts away from the house. Regular checks after storms can prevent a small maintenance task from becoming a serious moisture problem.
