This is the Story of What Happened to the Real Cleopatra

Cleopatra was about twenty-one when she appeared before Caesar and argued for her right to rule. She was intelligent, confident, and able to explain how her brother’s advisers had forced her from power.

Caesar soon supported her return, although politics mattered as much as personal attraction. Cleopatra needed Roman soldiers, while Caesar needed Egypt’s money and stability. Their alliance changed her future, but first they had to survive the army gathering outside the palace.
