Times Clueless Men Should Have Turned to Google

Women throughout history have definitely had to put up with a lot of nonsense from men. As we can tell by this Twitter thread, things aren’t that much better today, but at least some people are somewhat more educated than they used to be a hundred years ago. Still, we have a long way to go.

In the past, when trains were first introduced in the U.S., people actually thought it was dangerous for women to ride trains of fear their uteruses would fly out of their bodies! You can’t make that stuff up. Anthropologies suspect this had something to do with the fear of new technologies and change.
