Times Clueless Men Should Have Turned to Google

One thing we haven’t yet discussed is wives’ tales, and this certainly sounds like one. While he may have misunderstood the original tale, there was one many years ago that babies are more likely to be born at night. There is some science behind this, too! Our ancestors were often busy during the day but could come together during the evening and night hours.

That meant the mother could relax (as much as possible) and give birth while being protected by the people in her community. It’s entirely possible that word of this was passed down generations until it simply became “babies are born at night.” We’ll never know, but it makes sense.
