#3: Hayley Mills Then
Hayley Mills became one of Disney’s brightest young stars in the early 1960s, first capturing hearts as the optimistic orphan in Pollyanna (1960). Her performance earned her a special Juvenile Academy Award. She followed this with The Parent Trap (1961), where she famously played twin sisters scheming to reunite their divorced parents.

During her Disney years, Mills embodied youthful innocence and charm. The daughter of British actor John Mills, she grew up in the spotlight and quickly became a teen icon. Her wholesome screen presence made her a role model for young audiences and cemented her status as Disney’s golden girl of the decade.
