#13: Mackenzie Rosman as Ruthie Camden
Introduced as the youngest Camden, Ruthie initially provided comic relief and childlike honesty. Over time, her character evolved into more serious territory, tackling themes of maturity, loss, and responsibility. Watching Ruthie grow up onscreen gave the series emotional depth and long-term continuity across its many seasons.
During production, Rosman spent nearly her entire childhood on the show. She balanced acting with school and developed interests outside Hollywood, particularly competitive horseback riding.
