In the years after Dynasty, MacGraw stepped back from Hollywood and found fulfillment outside the screen. She pursued yoga and wellness, becoming one of the early advocates for mindful living, and co-authored Moving Pictures, a candid memoir about fame, relationships, and reinvention.

Now in her mid-80s, MacGraw lives quietly in New Mexico, where she devotes her time to animal rights and environmental causes. She remains a symbol of natural beauty and authenticity. A lovely bit of trivia: she once said she took Dynasty because “it looked like fun—and I wanted to wear the clothes.”
