#35: Bagels with Full-Fat Cream Cheese
A bagel with cream cheese is simple, portable, and available in almost every café. Because bagels do not taste especially sweet or greasy, it is easy to overlook their large portion of refined carbohydrates.

Many bakery bagels equal several slices of bread, while a thick coating of cream cheese adds saturated fat without much protein. Choose a smaller whole-grain bagel and use a thin spread. Cottage cheese, hummus, avocado, or an egg can make the meal more balanced.
